After the great success of the three cycles of webinars “Waiting for Matera” proposed in 2020, 2021 and 2022, in anticipation of the 49th AIA National Conference, the Acoustical Society of Italy organizes “Waiting for Ferrara…” confirming the formula of free dissemination seminars, in telematic mode, on topics of current affairs and of general interest concerning applied acoustics.
The program includes three online events which will be held, as in the previous three seasons, on Friday, in the lunch break from 13.30 to 14.30. The speakers will be researchers and professionals, experts in acoustics and in other disciplines connected to different and interdisciplinary application fields: noise emissions and disturbance, minimum environmental criteria and sound evacuation systems in case of emergency.
The first scheduled webinar is “Intrusive characteristics of noise: methods and new assessment tools” online on Friday 20 January from 1.30 to 2.30 pm.
Intrusive noise will be discussed together with Paolo Caporello (Engineer) Gianfrancesco Colucci (Engineer) and Santo Durelli (lawyer of the Court of Genoa). Moderator Sergio Luzzi (Vie en.ro.se. Engineering).
