- “AMEDEO GIACOMINI” award is addressed to young researchers, those who are aged under 30, who received a Master’s degree with a thesis in acoustics in the calendar year preceding the award edition.
The award includes the preparation of a scientific paper with oral presentation, to be presented at the AIA annual national conference, and an extended article to be submitted for publication in the Rivista Italiana di Acustica. The winner will receive a plaque and a mention at the AIA annual national conference. The winner is exempted from paying the registration fee for this conference. - GINO G. SACERDOTE award is addressed to young researchers, those who are aged under 35, who received a PhD with a doctoral thesis in acoustics in the calendar year preceding the award edition.
The award includes the preparation of a scientific paper with oral presentation, to be presented at the AIA annual national conference, and an extended article to be submitted for publication in the Rivista Italiana di Acustica. The winner will receive a plaque and a mention at the AIA annual national conference. The winner is exempted from paying the registration fee for this conference. - The “ITALO BARDUCCI” prize aims to encourage and enhance the activity and scientific production of young scholars and researchers engaged in the various fields of acoustics, promoting the research activities of doctoral students and research fellows engaged in the field of acoustics at Italian universities or public research bodies.
The prize will be awarded to the best scientific memoir presented as a poster at the 48th annual AIA National Conference by research fellows or doctoral students under the age of 35.
The prize consists of a financial contribution of 600 Euros for participation in an international acoustics event (conference, seminar, course, etc.) scheduled by 2023 (calendar year following that of awarding the prize). Communications may be submitted by single authors or by groups of no more than three authors. - The “YOUNG PROFESSIONALS” award is aimed at young professionals in the acoustic and vibration sectors with at least two years of activity and no older than 35 years.
The awarding of the prize involves the preparation of an extended scientific article, to be submitted for publication in the Italian Acoustics Magazine, relating to an original work or study carried out within the profession, on topics relevant to the purpose of the Association.
The winner will be awarded a plaque and a mention.
The winner will be exempt from paying the fee for an AIA-sponsored TCA refresher course.
