AIA Awards

“AMEDEO GIACOMINI” award is addressed to young researchers, those who are aged under 30, who received a Master’s degree with a thesis in acoustics in the calendar year preceding the award edition.
The award includes the preparation of a scientific paper with oral presentation, to be presented at the AIA annual national conference, and an extended article to be submitted for publication in the Rivista Italiana di Acustica.

The winner will receive a plaque and a mention at the AIA annual national conference.
The winner is exempted from paying the registration fee for this conference.

Graduates in 2020 calendar year will participate in the 2021 edition of the “AMEDEO GIACOMINI” award.

“GINO G. SACERDOTE” award is addressed to young researchers, those who are aged under 35, who received a PhD with a doctoral thesis in acoustics in the calendar year preceding the award edition.
The award includes the preparation of a scientific paper with oral presentation, to be presented at the AIA annual national conference, and an extended article to be submitted for publication in the Rivista Italiana di Acustica.
The winner will receive a plaque and a mention at the AIA annual national conference.
The winner is exempted from paying the registration fee for this conference.

PhDs received in 2020 calendar year will participate in the 2021 edition of the “GINO G. SACERDOTE” award.

The 2021 edition of the “ITALO BARDUCCI” award will not be held as the 47th National Convention, which will be held online, does not include the presentation of posters.

The BARDUCCI prize will be restored in 2022.
