It is the primary interest of the AIA to protect health and actively support efforts to cope with the ongoing health emergency.

For this reason, it is necessary to reprogram all the events scheduled for 2020 by trying, in the first instance, to avoid cancellations and to re-propose the activities already planned in autumn or in 2021.

Consequently, the calendar of events for which it was possible to redefine new dates is as follows:

  • Seminar ” The acoustics of the building envelope: from component certification to on-site verification”, Bari, 9 July 2020
  • 47th AIA National Conference, Matera, 23-25 September 2020

All events related to the International Year of Sound coordinated by the AIA are being reprogrammed.

The International Conference “The Acoustics of Ancient Theaters” will be rescheduled for 2021

Due to the postponement of the main activities planned for the current year,  the deadlines for the AIA award calls are extended as follows:

  • 30 June, deadline for applications;
  • July 15, communication of the awarding of prizes.

The procedures of participation remain unchanged.

In any case, we will inform you promptly in case of new provisions that may have further repercussions on the planned activities.

We therefore invite you to periodically visit the AIA website and its social networks:
