The International Year of Sound 2020-2021 is a global initiative related to the UNESCO "Charter of Sound" n. 39C / 59 to highlight the importance of sound in all its aspects, as well as scientific and technological developments in this sector.
After the great success of the International Year of Sound 2020-2021, within the framework of the 28th International Noise Awareness Day INAD 2023, the Acoustical Societies of Turkey (TAKDER), Italy (AIA) and Spain (SEA) are organising the international symposium “Keep your hearing, keep your health: Educational facilities”.
The symposium is dedicated to young students, PhD students, researchers and professionals and will bring together European experts to discuss the latest innovations in sustainable, biobased acoustic materials and metamaterials. The event aims to share advanced knowledge, exploring materials that combine high acoustic performance with environmental sustainability criteria.
