The symposium is dedicated to young students, PhD students, researchers and professionals and will bring together European experts to discuss the latest innovations in sustainable, biobased acoustic materials and metamaterials. The event aims to share advanced knowledge, exploring materials that combine high acoustic performance with environmental sustainability criteria.
Among the main objectives are: promoting innovative solutions to reduce environmental impact, analyzing the potential of metamaterials for advanced sound management and encouraging the exchange of ideas between researchers and companies.
Promoted by the AIA Giovani group, the symposium also aims to be a moment of networking and professional growth, encouraging collaborations and new projects. In the afternoon, a free event is planned with testimonials in careers in acoustics, networking and speed dating with companies. It is a precious opportunity to train the new generation of experts, connecting science, technology and sustainability for the future of acoustics.

Online registrations on the AIA website will close on January 24th.
It will then be possible to register on site with an increase of € 40 + VAT.
Cancellation policy:
For cancellations sent to segreteria@acustica-aia.it by January 24th, 50% of the amount paid will be refunded. After this date, it will not be possible to refund the fee paid.
The afternoon session is free to attend. Registration will take place directly on site.
New for companies taking part in the afternoon session of the Symposium is the professional networking and speed dating event scheduled from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
On this occasion, participating companies will have the opportunity to take part in one-to-one meetings (10-minute slots per meeting for a maximum of 6 slots per company) with young graduates, PhD students and professionals, to share career ideas and illustrate the most sought-after professional figures in the acoustics sector.
Companies joining the afternoon session will have included:
Participation in the afternoon session with a reserved station for speed dating.
Inclusion of the name of the participating company in communications relating to the speed dating activity.
Inclusion of the logo of the participating company on the AIA website page dedicated to the event.
The cost of participation for companies is € 250 + VAT.
Please note that the event can accommodate a maximum of 15 companies on a “first come, first served” basis, and the payment receipt will be valid.
Therefore, those who select “bank transfer” as a payment method must send the payment receipt to the secretariat segreteria@acustica-aia.it within 24 hours, under penalty of cancellation of the registration.
