The simulation of acoustic phenomena, thanks to the exponential increase in computing power observed in recent years, now encompasses a vast range of domains, from modeling sound propagation in porous materials to sound propagation in large environments and outdoor space. Each of these areas benefits from diverse computational approaches, from the simplest methods based on ray tracing to numerically solved wave models.
However, this enormous computational potential not only comes at the expense of the inevitable approximation of some phenomena, but also the difficulty of providing adequate input data, without which the reliability of the results would be significantly reduced.
The seminar organized by AIA and AES Italia therefore aims to provide professionals and scholars with a clear and operational overview of the state of the art and the remaining issues in the field of acoustic simulation, with particular reference to the modeling of sound sources and the interaction between electroacoustic sources and environments, whether confined or open. This latter aspect is increasingly important given the proliferation of outdoor events.

Online registration on the AIA website closes on October 2nd. On-site registration will then be possible with a €40 surcharge.
Cancellation policy: Cancellations sent to segreteria@acustica-aia.it by October 2nd will receive a 50% refund. After this date, the fee will not be refunded
Professional training credits for engineers will be issued. CFPs are only awarded to participants present for the entire duration of the Seminar.
