SUMMARY:Webinar "Technical Thursday meetings" with the participation of AIA Platinum and Gold 2026 Supporters
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Acoustical Society of Italy is pleased is pleased to present the 2026 edition of its “Thursday Technical Meetings\,” a series of free webinar seminars with AIA Platinum and Gold 2026 Supporters. \nThe program includes 7 informative meetings\, which will be held from Thursday\, October 1st to Thursday\, December 3rd\, from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM. These meetings will feature the participation of 3 AIA Platinum 2026 Supporters (Mason Industries\, Rockfon\, and Saint-Gobain) and AIA Gold 2026 Supporters (Aesse Ambiente\, Head Acoustics\, Polymaxitalia\, and Spectra). \nTwo presentations are scheduled for each meeting: the first\, managed by AIA\, will provide a theoretical overview of the topic; the second will present one or more case studies through a technical presentation by the Supporter. \nThe schedule for the series of meetings\, currently being updated\, can be found below.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator color=”custom” accent_color=”#339832″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_tta_tour active_section=”3″][vc_tta_section title=”1 October 2026″ tab_id=”1671040311226-bd1543bf-1f83″][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”592027″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]Thursday\, 1 October 2026  1.30-2.30 pm\n \nWebinar “NOISEWIND: Application for assessing the noise impact of wind farms according to the Ministerial Decree of June 1\, 2022” \nModerator: Gaetano Licitra (Università di Pisa) \nThe Ministerial Decree of June 1\, 2022\, establishes specific procedures for assessing the noise impact of wind farms that allow compliance with limits to be established even without having to shut down the facilities. Noisewind\, by managing all input data (noise levels\, wind speed and direction\, turbine rotation speed\, etc.)\, allows\, in just a few quick steps\, the complex processing procedure that separates the noise levels of the specific wind source from the residual noise\, determining the emission level and fit curves as required by the Decree. By enabling assessment using this method without shutting down the turbines\, Noisewind minimizes the financial costs of the investigation.[/vc_column_text]Ended event[/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_separator color=”custom” accent_color=”#269c48″]Speakers[vc_separator color=”custom” accent_color=”#269c48″][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”586469″ img_size=”MEDIUM”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]Piertoni Cambiaggio for Aesse Ambiente\, AESSE Ambiente was founded in January 2013 after 15 years as the Italian branch of 01dB. This is a topic that has been faced with considerable difficulty by industry experts due to the limited availability of scientific data and a lack of knowledge of the specific acoustic issues associated with this type of construction. The study is based on comparative experimental measurements\, performed directly on site\, which provided useful information on the acoustic response of different floor configurations\, with particular reference to a floating floor and a lightweight floor\, with and without the interposition of different types of acoustic layers. \nChair: (Chiara Scrosati CNR-ITC)[/vc_column_text]Ended Event[/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_separator color=”custom” accent_color=”#269c48″]Speakers[vc_separator color=”custom” accent_color=”#269c48″][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”591999″ img_size=”MEDIUM”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]Emanuele Bonifazi for Polymaxitalia\, Polymaxitalia is an Italian company specializing in the production\, processing\, and distribution of acoustic insulation and sound-absorbing products\, under the SUITEPAD and UACOUSTICS brands. It is essential to understand not only how much vibration or noise a system generates\, but also where the phenomenon originates and how it propagates. Among the major applications of a multi-channel system are:\n• experimental modal analysis;\n• diagnosis of rotating machinery;\n• identification of vibro-acoustic transmission paths;\n• transfer functions;\n• localization of sound sources;\n• assessment of vehicle and machinery comfort;\n• structural monitoring;\n• correlation between vibration\, force\, sound pressure\, and rotational speed.\n• simultaneous sound power measurement with multiple sensors\n• correlation with reference signals with different sampling rates \nThe SINUS SoundBook analyzer is a battery-powered\, integrated multichannel analyzer that allows multichannel measurements under any operating condition. More than 30 years after the first commercialized version\, the PRO version was released in 2026.
