The text of accepted scientific papers must be produced in the form of an extended summary of a maximum length of two pages. This paper will be included in the conference proceedings (which will be published exclusively online and which will have its own ISBN for indexing in bibliographic databases).

We recommend that you carefully follow the instructions in the template and do not make any changes to the structure (layout, font size, etc.).

The memoirs must be saved in unprotected PDF format and uploaded using the FORM in the Uploading Contributions section.

N.B.: texts that are excessively long or do not comply with the graphic requirements will not be published in the Conference Proceedings. No changes will be made during the editorial phase, therefore each author is responsible for verifying the conformity of their manuscripts.

In order to allow the widest dissemination of scientific contributions, the authors retain the rights to their work and assign to the AIA the right of first publication of the work, simultaneously licensed under a “Creative Commons – Attribution License” (CC-BY) , which allows others to share the work by indicating the intellectual authorship and the first publication in the proceedings of this Conference. The authors can join other non-exclusive license agreements for the distribution of the version of the published work (e.g.: depositing it in an institutional archive or publishing it in a monograph), provided they indicate that the first publication took place on the documents of this Conference. Authors can disseminate their work online (e.g. in institutional repositories or on their website) before and during the publication process in the proceedings of this Conference, as it can lead to productive exchanges and increase citations of the published work.

The extended version of the scientific papers presented at the Conference can be submitted to the Italian Journal of Acoustics for review and publication in the AIA’s online periodical. In this regard, please note that the RIA is a completely open access and peer-reviewed journal, currently being accredited by the main bibliographic indexing and citation databases. The Rivista Italiana di Acoustica provides for an anonymous review between the parties and the publication process of the works presented at the National Conference is the same as that foreseen for free contributions. Authors intending to propose an extended version of the scientific paper can register on the website of the Publisher of the Italian Journal of Acoustics and proceed with the submission of the article, specifying in the comments that it is a paper presented at the 50th AIA National Conference.

The complete list of scientific memoirs grouped by thematic macro-areas and the alphabetical list by author will be made available on this site. Please promptly report to the AIA SECRETARIAT any changes in the name of the author who will present the oral paper or the poster, as well as any absences. Please note that only those memoirs of which at least one author is up to date with registration for the National Conference will be published in the proceedings.

The time available for the oral presentation is 12 minutes, followed by 3 minutes for questions from the audience and for the change of speaker. Presentations must be uploaded at least one hour before the start of the session on the computer provided in the room where the session takes place. The Microsoft Powerpoint template for the presentation is available at the link below. It is recommended to represent text, graphics and figures in such a way as to ensure adequate readability and not to modify the structure of the model (logo, position of the title, etc.).

The format for posters is 70×100. The posters must be installed in the appropriate spaces at the beginning of the Conference and must remain on display for the entire duration. The materials for posting the posters will be available at the secretariat, at the registration desk. The spaces assigned to the various posters will be identified with the identification code of the scientific memory, as reported in the lists cited above.
