The 49° Convegno Nazionale dell’Associazione Italiana di Acustica is organized in collaboration with the Department of Engineering of the University of Ferrara and the CNR-STEMS headquarters in Ferrara. The conference will address the most current issues in the fields of environmental noise analysis and control, acoustic quality in buildings and work environments, also considering the most recent developments in the regulatory field and in all the other more advanced sectors of acoustics research physics, environmental, architectural, musical and metrological.

TEXT OF THE SCIENTIFIC MEMORIES
The text of accepted scientific papers must be produced in the form of an extended summary of a maximum length of two pages. This paper will be included in the conference proceedings (which will be published exclusively online and which will have their own ISBN for indexing in bibliographic databases).
It is recommended to scrupulously follow the instructions given in the template and not to make changes to the structure (layout, font size, etc.).
Memoirs must be saved in non-protected PDF format and uploaded using the FORM in the Uploading Contributions section.
N.B.: texts of excessive length or which do not comply with the graphic requirements will not be published in the Conference Proceedings. No changes will be made in the editorial phase, therefore each author is responsible for verifying the conformity of their manuscripts.
In order to allow the widest dissemination of scientific contributions, the authors maintain the rights to their work and grant the AIA the right of first publication of the work, simultaneously licensed under a “Creative Commons License – Attribution” (CC-BY) , which allows others to share the work by indicating the intellectual authorship and the first publication on the proceedings of this Conference. The authors may adhere to other non-exclusive license agreements for the distribution of the version of the published work (e.g. depositing it in an institutional archive or publishing it in a monograph), provided they indicate that the first publication took place on the acts of this Conference. Authors can disseminate their work online (e.g. in institutional repositories or on their website) before and during the process of publication in the proceedings of this Conference, as it can lead to productive exchanges and increase citations of the published work.
MODEL FOR THE TEXT OF THE SCIENTIFIC MEMORIES
The extended version of the scientific papers presented at the Conference can be submitted to the Italian Acoustics Review for review and publication in the online periodical of the AIA. In this regard, it should be remembered that the RIA is a completely open access and peer-reviewed journal, currently being accredited in the main indexing and bibliographic citation databases. The Italian Review of Acoustics provides for an anonymous review between the parties and the publication procedure for the works presented at the National Conference is the same as that envisaged for free contributions. Authors intending to propose an extended version of the scientific paper can register on the website of the Publisher of the Italian Review of Acoustics and submit the article, specifying in the comments that it is a paper presented at the 49th AIA National Conference.
PRESENTATION OF SCIENTIFIC MEMORIES
The complete list of scientific papers grouped by thematic macro-areas and the alphabetical list by author will be made available on this site. Please promptly notify the AIA SECRETERIA of any changes in the name of the author who will present the oral presentation or the poster, as well as any absences. Please note that only papers of which at least one author is up-to-date with the registration for the National Conference will be published in the proceedings.
ORAL PRESENTATION
The time available for the oral presentation is 15 minutes, followed by 3 minutes for questions from the public and a 2-minute break for a change of room. The presentations must be uploaded at least one hour before the start of the session on the computer provided in the classroom where the session takes place. The Microsoft Powerpoint template for presentation is available at the link below. It is recommended to represent text, graphics and figures in such a way as to ensure adequate legibility and not to modify the structure of the model (logo, title position, etc.).
POSTER PRESENTATION
The format for posters is 70×100. The posters must be installed in the appropriate spaces at the beginning of the Conference and must remain on display for the entire duration of the same. The materials for posting the posters will be available at the secretariat, at the registration desk. The spaces assigned to the various posters will be identified with the scientific memory identification code, as reported in the lists mentioned above.
